Yggdrasil Wins IGA’s 2021 Slot Provider of the Year Award

Leading iGaming content creator Yggdrasil recently cemented its position in the elite global leagues by winning a coveted award. While this isn’t the first global recognition that Yggdrasil received, it is one of the most significant in recent times. Yggdrasil won the Slot Provider of the Year Award at the International Gaming Award (IGA) 2021.

IGA Yggdrasil

2021 marks the fifth year in a row that Yggdrasil won an award at the IGA. The Slot Provider of the Year Award commemorates excellence while highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of software developers. Yggdrasil has been on an innovative run in the past few months, launching interesting and engaging titles in quick succession for the players.

The award is a testament to Yggdrasil’s game-changing efforts made in the past several years. The content providers went out of the way in the past 12 months to build a diverse portfolio. And the library has been further boosted by content from Yggdrasil’s proprietary Games Engagement Mechanics (GEM) and YG Masters program initiatives.

A Word from Yggdrasil

Commenting on the win, Fredrik Elmqviust, the CEO of Yggdrasil said, “We’re thrilled to win the prestigious Slot Provider of the Year award. The team has been working hard over the past 12 months to deliver excellence and keep the players engaged. We want to continue our streak and cement Yggdrasil’s position as a leading content creator in the iGaming segment”.

“I am sincerely thankful to everyone at Yggdrasil, including our partners who have tirelessly contributed to this achievement. We will continue promoting innovation throughout this difficult time with unique games, features and mechanics that have been extremely well received by our patrons all over the world”, Fredrik added.

Yggdrasil’s Contribution to the iGaming Industry

Yggdrasil’s five gems are Splitz™, DoubleMax™, Gigablox™, GigaRise™, and MultiMAX™. They are massively successful and have made their presence felt in several popular titles from the game developer.

Yggdrasil continues to make ground-breaking innovations and launch highly entertaining games with fresh mechanics and themes to amplify its product range. Furthermore, Yggdrasil’s latest titles feature payouts from Infinity Reels, Pay Lines, Ways to Win, and Clusters, making it one of the most diverse in the market.

The YG Masters Program further bolstered Yggdrasil’s performance by adding over 20 innovative titles to its portfolio. Several upcoming slot providers have used this platform to reach out to the masses. The list includes True Lab, Reflex Gaming, Reel Play, Reel Life Gaming, Northern Lights, Jade Rabbit, Dreamtech, Rabcat, Peter and Sons, Bang Bang, Avatar UX, Bulletproof, GameVY, and 4ThePlayer.

Staying in the Limelight

Yggdrasil isn’t media-shy either, and the developer is constantly in the news for all the right reasons. Moreover, the company has an excellent social media division that works round the clock to promote the brand and its portfolio. Yggdrasil recently released an informative 10-episode podcast called What’s Up YGG. The podcast discusses the latest events and highlights the important updates from the industry to keep the fans, players, and aggregators updated with the current state of the iGaming market.

Yggdrasil publishes a new video slot once a week via its Gaming Platform. And it’s either from the company or one of its partner brands. This level of commitment is unlike any other developer currently in the market. Hence, the IGA Award is well-deserved.
